This past week, a common theme has surfaced: learning, experimenting, and curiosity.
And the realization how rarely I give myself permission to do that.
Music became a part of my life at a young age, so I think once I found my niche, I just kept following that path without question.
But this season of my life feels different. This week, moments of reflection underscored the importance of self-rediscovery.
My identity, as much as I hold onto it for clarity in navigating life, has a duality of both rigidity and fluidity.
Embracing that duality might be the spark to finally stepping into a more aligned version of myself, one I actively work towards becoming.
How often do we allow ourselves to be something different than what we've envisioned? Or what external pressures have shaped our perception of who we need to be?
Or perhaps, how often have we denied ourselves the chance to live out our most authentic truth that was there all along, simply waiting to be acknowledged?
Redefining... rediscovering. Interwoven.
Honestly, I can’t say I have any real answers yet. But I'm taking the time to be still and observe. Hopefully, with time, I can find the courage and strength to chip away at the layers that hold me back from revealing my most authentic self.
Learning and experimenting. With a curious heart leading the way.
